Dental Check-ups
People generally fear the dentist, mainly due to the awe-inducing presence (and consequently, pain) of the drill. But the fact is, people need to visit the dentist, or face the consequences of teeth deterioration, a fate more painful and permanent than the drill.
Regular dental check-ups should ideally begin from infancy. Babies should be given a check-up at the age of six months, in order to prepare for the future development of the child’s dental structure, and regular visits six months apart after the child hits his first year, or grows his primary teeth, whichever comes first. This is to make sure that whatever problems in alignment that could arise in the future could be addressed.
It is advised, for adults, to regularly visit their dentist for regular cleaning. During these check-ups, dentists usually check your teeth and gums for signs of decay and various teeth and gum related problems. The dentist will also use a polishing compound to clean up your teeth and the gaps in between, and scrape off tartar build-up as well. The procedures also call for the application of various solutions to prevent tooth decay and tartar build-up.
For companies that would like to offer their employees benefits for dental check-up and care, our clinic will be glad to serve such needs. |
